A 10-Week Journey Through the Yamas & Niyamas

Yoga is far more than a movement practice—it is a path for living with greater awareness, purpose, compassion, and connection.

Join us for this transformative 10-week series as we explore the Yamas and Niyamas, the foundational ethical principles of yoga philosophy. Often described as yoga's "code of ethics," these timeless teachings offer practical guidance for how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us.

Each 90-minute session will focus on one principle, blending discussion, self-reflection, and yoga practice to bring these ancient teachings into modern life. Together, we'll explore what each concept means, how it can be embodied on the mat, and how it can support greater well-being, authenticity, and ease in everyday living.

Whether you are new to yoga philosophy or looking to deepen your understanding, this series is designed to be accessible, welcoming, and relevant to all. The Yamas and Niyamas are not a religion and do not require any particular spiritual belief system. Rather, they offer universal values and practical tools that can complement and support people of all faiths, backgrounds, and life experiences.

Each class will include:

  • An introduction to the week's principle and its roots in yoga philosophy
  • Guided discussion and reflection
  • A thoughtfully designed yoga practice that embodies the teaching
  • Practical tools for integrating the principle into daily life
  • Opportunities for questions, insight, and community connection
